Are you not falsely angry?

Matthew 20: 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

The heart knows its own bitterness ( Proverbs 14:10)

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23 AMP).

There is a very dangerous person that  we should be aware of, and even not associate with,   one who is also mainly  the devil’s follower, and that is the self centered, sarcastic,  the withdrawn silhouette control freak..

Like the Apostle Judas, and they tend to do they dirty work in the background, not transparently to all, do have a hidden bad agenda, The Last Supper specifically portrays the reaction given by each apostle when ... Judas is wearing green and blue and is in shadow, looking rather withdrawn . An Apostate.

ONE OF MY OWN FAVORITE EXPRESSION IS THAT "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING A LITTLE BIT PREGNANT".  http://kambulow.blogspot.ca/2013/06/the-possession.html

Apostasy in Christianity refers to the rejection of Christianity by someone who formerly was a Christian. The term apostasy comes from the Greek word apostasia ("ἀποστασία") meaning defection, departure, revolt or rebellion. It has been described as "a willful falling away from, or rebellion against Jesus Christ,  Christianity.

Apostasy is the rejection of the teachings of Jesus Christ by one who has been a Christian... describing those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned next their  original faith in the God of the covenant, who manifests himself most completely in Jesus Christ."  "Apostasy is the antonym of conversion; it is deconversion."

And it seems 50 percent of once loudly professing Christians will next become Apostates, sell Jesus cause they  falsely  did not get what they wanted, even wealth,  power, fame, recognition, more sex...;

- With·drawn   v. Past participle of withdraw. adj. 1. Not readily approached; remote. 2. a. Not friendly or sociable; aloof. b. Emotionally .

- Control freak It is a serious personality disorder and is a derogatory term for a person who attempts to dictate how everything around them is to be done. A draining person.  People who feel out of control . Manipulators  The control freaks are people who are falsely terrified of any failure. Perfectionists. They can not trust that anyone to do a better job than they will. a false belief that  that if they  can change another person's undesirable behavior, then you both will be happier or more fulfilled.  The Person  who if not in control of many aspects even in other's lives will go ballistic. This ensues telling, demanding, and a control freak likes to claim the successes of others as their own. These people obsessively try to dictate how you’re supposed to be and feel. They have an opinion about everything; disagree at your peril. Control freaks rarely know that they are one. They believe that they are helping people with their "constructive criticism" or taking over a project because "no one else will do it right." They spout, dictate unsolicited advice and use anger often to put you in your place. You cannot tell them what to do.; .Express to them your right to be heard, and also to do things your way too.;

Some clear signs of the Control freaks  for your -diagnosing pleasure.

1 They try to "help them" change  by pointing it out, usually over and over.

2 They try  micromanage others to make them fit their often unrealistic expectations. They can’t accept others  imperfection they  don't think anyone else should either.

3 They continually  judge others' behavior as right or wrong and without love, passive-aggressively withhold attention, contact  until they fall in line with their demands,  expectations. Sitting in silent judgment  an  other form of control.

4 They offer "constructive criticism" as a veiled attempt to advance their own agenda.

5   Instead of just being themselves , they attempt to deceive others by projection  of their false   impression of   them selves

6 Fear mongers, threateners   and manipulators.

7 Know it all.

8 They  intervene on behalf of others by trying to explain or dismiss their negative behaviors to others.

“Arguing with the control freak seldom works. Why? Because they are an expert at justifying to themselves and everyone else why they are right. They are world authorities in being "right". They have spent whole lifetimes practicing "being right". So trying to out-argue them can be nigh on impossible.”

Simply  walk away – let them try rather to control others

Narcissism  is used to describe a person characterized by harshness, egotism, vanity, pride, or selfishness.

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a serious personal personality disorder in  which the individual is   excessively preoccupied with issues of personal needs, wants, desires, adequacy, power, prestige and even  vanity..

 Persons diagnosed with a Narcissistic Personality Disorder are characterized by unwarranted, false  feelings of self-importance. They are aggressors who have  an abnormal sense of entitlement and demonstrate grandiosity in their beliefs and behavior. They have a over inflated strong need for admiration of others, but meanwhile lack feelings of love, care, concerns empathy for others. Like the case of a father who buys a nice new car for himself while his own son suffers in poverty. These negative  qualities are usually defenses against a deep feeling of inferiority and of being in the past rejected, unloved. Example- Rebuked in a marriage proposal.

The concept of Narcissus, excessive selfishness has been recognized negative through the Bible  throughout history. Narcissism is usually considered a major problem in a person or group's relationships with self and others.

These  people who are pathologically narcissistic, are very much controlling, blaming, self-absorbed, intolerant of others' views, unaware of others' needs as well.,  obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges, problems in sustaining, satisfying relationships. lack of love to others, no emotional attachments, difficulty with empathy, clear problems distinguishing the self from others, manifest a hypersensitivity to any insults  real or imagined insults, criticism and manifests often rage and objects to narcissistic injury, napoleon complex,  use contempt to minimize the other person, can resort to physical abuse of others quite easily, inability to process shame in healthy ways.; gentleness only to those who admire and affirm them , detesting those who do not admire them , use other people without considering the cost of doing so, imposters, hypocrites, pretending to be more important even to all others over what they really are, self promoter, mostly, takes advantage of others to reach own imposed goals, always expects to be recognized as superior and special, without any real even  superior accomplishments, falsely expects constant attention, admiration and positive reinforcement of their goodness  from others; arrogant in attitudes and behavior, expectations of special treatment that are unrealistic, often lying, ragging  and exaggerate of their achievements, values, effects., claiming to be a genius,  "expert" at all things, clearly cold, unloving, fruitless, inability to view the world from the perspective of other people, clear denial of any wrong doings,  guilt, remorse and evident no  gratitude.

Narcissists hold unreasonable and false expectations of particularly favorable treatment form all others and the related automatic compliance because they consider falsely do themselves special above all others. Failure to comply to praising them is considered a personal  attack on  them, their superiority, and the unacceptable perpetrator is  immediately considered an "enemy" or "crazy" person, censured, not to associate with anymore. Any  Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic even violent rage. All others are always to be placed in a  subservient position. All  Others either exist to meet their needs or may as well not exist at all.

 Narcissists see themselves as perfect, using distortion and their false illusion known , self  projection to dump shame falsely unto onto others.

A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person's ability by using contempt to minimize the other person.

The  narcissist who is feeling deflated does often  re-inflate by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else. In other words a Slave driver, a control freak and  Bully as well.

  It was Christ who said, "You will know them by their fruits." And Christ went on to say, "Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord." shall even enter the kingdom of heaven next.”” Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father who is in heaven." Which includes manifesting the fruit of the holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Ephesians 5":9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand;

The Word of God also tells us, "There are none good, no not one." There are none inherently or presently totally good. "All always are sinners and all fall short of the glory of God."

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 15: 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

1 Corinthians 4:21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

Galatians 6;1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

1 John 1:5    This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(Isa 5:20 KJV) Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and  21  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!  22  Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23  Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! 24  Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. 25  Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Note this- For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. God can get angry even with his own people,

Firstly most of what I have heard, read on forgiveness, anger was biblically distorted.

"Remember and do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath ( Anger) in the wilderness." (Deut. 9:7 NRSV)

1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

(Psa 37:8 KJV) Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

(Eph 4:31 KJV) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

(Col 3:8 KJV) But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

(Prov 14:17 KJV) He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

(Prov 16:32 KJV) He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

(Prov 17:27 KJV) He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

(Prov 29:11 KJV) A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

(Prov 29:22 KJV) An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

(Eccl 7:9 KJV) Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

(1 Cor 13:5 KJV) (LOVE) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

(Deu 32:35 KJV) To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Personal Emotions of Rage, anger are  often encountered  in real life. Some people would say that God and Jesus said that all  anger is a sin, yet God and Jesus they both  got angry.  It was here  a divine response to unrepentant human sins and injustices. Not all anger is sinful, but you can easily test, see if it is? Does it last more than a day for a start? There is a sinful anger still.

 Clearly some forms of anger  are wrong, and this is also the anger that Jesus spoke out against in Matthew 5:22 - anger that is destructive towards others and unnecessarily demeaning of others .

(Mat 5:22 KJV)  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23  Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there  rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24  Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25  Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26  Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

Righteous anger, are all occurrences which also anger God himself and he takes real serious notes of the wrongs being done too.

In opposite to a righteous anger there is also the Unrighteous anger such as what the still many unrepentant persons do exhibit, stems from our evil human traits, hearts arising also from , envy, jealousy, selfishness, a pampered, .spoiled person.

False , unrighteous Anger, usually is also a self-justification for doing more wrong , used as  a false defense of one's own sin, even because one really does not want to repent, change, or a prideful response, not wanting to admit one is wrong. When this anger grows into rage, it is often a false personal denial, defense against one's own lies and deceits being uncovered next, made known to all.

I have also often been surprised how the unrepentant persons, pastors included, tend to quickly get angry at those who asked them rightfully to repent. It was interesting to note that anger can be personally expressed by words, silence, sarcastic comments, criticism, aggressive actions, nagging, quarreling, bitterness, irritability, pettiness, nervousness, pouting, resentment, humiliation, denial, hatred, revenge, pride, and unforgiveness...

Proverb 29:11, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control." Rather deal appropriately still with the cause of your anger. Also do come to God in prayer on the matters and ask for his supernatural helps..

Apostle Paul also got angry but he also dealt with it appropriately.. He rebuked Peter, and silenced the demon possessed girl that followed him around.

(Prov 9:8 KJV) Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

(Prov 24:24 KJV) He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: 25 But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

Indignation,  is what could be called a righteous anger - anger at a real wrongdoing. Jesus, or God's anger is not a denial of His love. His anger means He cares too much to ignore the harm we are doing to ourselves and to one another. Jesus did not become angry over small matters and did not express his anger in an unbalanced or disproportionate way, cause.

(Psa 7:11 KJV)  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

(John 2:13 KJV)  And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14  And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and  the changers of money sitting: 15  And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16  And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. 17  And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

 (also Matthew 21:12-13, Mark 11:15-18, Luke 19:45-46)

Psalms 137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. 3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. 4 How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land? 5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. 6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. 7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Raze it, raze it, even to the foundation thereof. 8 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. 9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

 IT WAS THE JEWISH TEMPLE AND THE JEWS WHO WERE KILLED FIRSTLY STILL EVEN IN 70 AD..

(Mark 3:1 KJV)  And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. 2  And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that  they might accuse him. 3  And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4  And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. 5  And when  he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

(John 11:37 KJV)  And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? 38  Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39  Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40  Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

God is always in control of His wrath. God's anger and wrath are solely upon those who reject his Son, the narcissistic persons, those are self-seeking , those who do not follow His will,  who falsely  reject the truth and follow evil And while God  remains angry with unrepentant, unbelievers. His anger does next pass for those who truly repent as genuine personal Repentance turns God's wrath away personally from the sinner..

Even on earth there may be very serious personal  consequences for the unrepentant sinner not just in Hell.

 John 3:36 (NRSV) "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath."

(Rom 2:5 KJV)  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

God was, is rightfully angered by many different things that men and women do. Even among them are disobedience, rebellion, idolatry, irreverence, ingratitude, ceaseless complaining, pride, racism, murder, selfishness, lusting, adultery, thefts, abuse, lies,  dishonor, lack of trust, false partialities, bribes, and faithlessness, disbelief, opposition to God's people, especially the abuse, mistreatment of any others, and of his anointed ones, his prophets, and he was, is also very angry with the false prophets. false teachers, false pastors. God is not a false respecter of persons now as well.

(James 4:1 KJV)  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5  Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12  There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? 13  Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15  For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16  But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17  Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

(Gen 18:30 KJV)  And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

(Gen 18:32 KJV)  And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

(1 Ki 8:46 KJV)  If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

(Ezra 9:14 KJV)  Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

(Psa 2:12 KJV)  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

(Psa 79:5 KJV)  How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

(Psa 80:4 KJV)  O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

(Psa 85:5 KJV)  Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

(Eccl 5:6 KJV)  Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

(Eccl 7:9 KJV)  Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

(Jonah 4:4 KJV)  Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?

(Jonah 4:9 KJV)  And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.

(Mat 21:18 KJV)  Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. 19  And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20  And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Jesus himself  clearly expressed rightful anger at the House of Israel, as well at a fig tree.. and he rightfully acted upon his righteous anger too

Since Jesus in regard to the fig tree, the nation of Israel as well, after a reasonable season he next  found "nothing but leaves" - leaves without any taqsh- he knew that "it was an absolutely hopeless, fruitless fig tree" and she clearly said so as much

(Mat 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

(Rom 1:18 KJV)  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

(John 3:36 KJV)  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

(Rom 1:19 KJV)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.

(Rom 1:20 KJV)  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

(Exo 4:13 KJV)  And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. 14  And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

(Num 25:1 KJV)  And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. 2  And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. 3  And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel. 4  And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. 5  And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. 6  And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7  And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; 8  And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. 9  And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

(Josh 7:1 KJV)  But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. 19  And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me. 20  And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the  LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: 21  When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it. 22  So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it. 23  And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the LORD. 24  And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor. 25  And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. 26  And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.

(Deu 9:7 KJV)  Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

(Psa 2:1 KJV)  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

(Psa 78:1 KJV)  Maschil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline  your ears to the words of my mouth. 2  I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: 3  Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. 4  We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. 5  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: 6  That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: 7  That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: 8  And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. 9  The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. 10  They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; 11  And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had showed them. 12  Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. 13  He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap. 14  In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire. 15  He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths. 16  He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers. 17  And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness. 18  And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. 19  Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? 20  Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people? 21  Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel; 22  Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation: 23  Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven, 24  And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. 25  Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full. 26  He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind. 27  He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea: 28  And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations. 29  So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire; 30  They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths, 31  The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote  down the chosen men of Israel. 32  For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works. 33  Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble. 34  When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and inquired early after God. 35  And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer. 36  Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues. 37  For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant. 38  But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath. 39  For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again. 40  How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! 41  Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. 42  They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy. 43  How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan: 44  And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink. 45  He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them. 46  He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar, and their labour unto the locust. 47  He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycamore trees with frost. 48  He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts. 49  He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. 50  He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence; 51  And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham: 52  But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. 53  And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. 54  And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased. 55  He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents. 56  Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies: 57  But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful  bow. 58  For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images. 59  When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel: 60  So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men; 61  And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand. 62  He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance. 63  The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage. 64  Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation. 65  Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine. 66  And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach. 67  Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim: 68  But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved. 69  And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever. 70  He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds: 71  From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance. 72  So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

 (Psa 106:34 KJV)  They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: 35  But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. 36  And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. 37  Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, 38  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. 39  Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. 40  Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. 41  And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. 42  Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. 43  Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. 44  Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: 45  And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. 46  He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. 47  Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. 48  Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

(Isa 30:1 KJV)  Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 2  That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3  Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. 4  For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. 5  They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach. 6  The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them. 7  For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still. 8  Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: 9  That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: 10  Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: 11  Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. 12  Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: 13  Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. 14  And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. 15  For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. 16  But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17  One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. 18  And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. 19  For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. 20  And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21  And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. 22  Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence. 23  Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. 24  The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. 25  And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. 26  Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. 27  Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: 28  And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. 29  Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel. 30  And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 31  For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. 32  And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it. 33  For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

(Ezek 13:1 KJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? 4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; 5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. 6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. 7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself: 8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. 10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; 11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD. 12 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying, 13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: 14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD. 15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: 16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. 17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: 18 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. 19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: 20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. 21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? 22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. 23 And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

(Isa 42:23 KJV) Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. 25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

(Micah 5:15 KJV) And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

(Eph 5:6 KJV) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Proverbs 29:11, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control."

Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh words stirs up anger."

The Lord is slow to anger (Exo 34:6 KJV) And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

 (Num 14:18 KJV) The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

(Neh 9:17 KJV) And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

(Psa 86:15 KJV) But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

(Psa 103:8 KJV) The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

(Psa 145:8 KJV) The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

(Joel 2:13 KJV) And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

(Jonah 4:2 KJV) And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

(Nahum 1:3 KJV) The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

(Heb 12:14 KJV) "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"

 (Rom 12:18 KJV) " If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." Not always possible still though.

(2 Cor 6:3 KJV) Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; 9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; 10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Eph 4:31 KJV "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"

Col 3:8 KJV "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth."

 Man judges others mainly based on outward appearances, but God knows and judges a man based on his heart.. deeds..

“The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart” (1 Sam. 16:7).

(Luke 11:39 KJV)  And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

(Mark 12:38 KJV)  And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40  Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

(Mark 12:42 KJV)  And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

(Mark 7:18 KJV)  And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?20  And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:23  All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

(Prov 8:13 KJV)  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

(2 Chr 32:26 KJV)  Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah

(2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(1 Tim 2:9 KJV)  In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

(1 Pet 3:3 KJV)  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

(Psa 10:2 KJV)  The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

(Psa 10:4 KJV)  The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

(Psa 31:20 KJV)  Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

(Isa 28:1 KJV)  Woe to the crown of pride,

(Isa 28:3 KJV)  The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

(Jer 13:9 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

(Jer 13:17 KJV)  But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away captive.

(Jer 48:29 KJV)  We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

(Jer 49:16 KJV)  Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.

(Ezek 7:10 KJV)  Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

(Ezek 16:49 KJV)  Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
